...And we're off! Saturday morning we went on a hunt for our 2011 Christmas tree. We ended up with perfect sized Noble Fir! Strapped it up ourselves and it survived traveling the 8 miles on the highway - go us!
We decided to only put the lights on the tree on Saturday and save the decorating for Sunday. This photo is my Ry and I before we ventured out to Annapolis for the Annual Parade of Lights Boat Show. We've been going the last 3 years and the weather is usually freezing and rainy. However, this year, it was a perfect winter night - 40's, clear, and Navy beat Army in Football so the town was lively!

....And last but not least, our finished product! Most of our ornaments were generously donated to the Ry and Lauren Xmas Tree Improvement Program. Several of them have a longer history than either of us...but that makes it even more special!
