Cape Cod Remodel: Drywall Installed and Bathrooms Tiled

We're officially 5 months into this project and things are definitely moving fast!  We took a trip to Florida this past week with family and came back to find major progress on the house - drywall installed, brick painted, bathrooms tiled...

It was tough picking the color of the siding.  Mostly because the houses next to us are a pretty taupe/green and bright white so we didn't want to pick anything too green since it would pull color from the neighbors house.  So this "Cobblestone" color Hardie Board was pretty much the only option in the shades we liked.  I'm loving the color even more than I thought I would!!

Going inside, the drywall is UP!

The tile has been installed in the kids bathroom and the master bathroom.  Here's the nursery/kids bathroom.  We used tile from my uncle mixed in with the brown tile we picked out from The Tile Shop.

And here's our master bathroom.  We found all the master bathroom tile at The Tile Shop...

We are so pleased with the progress made these past few weeks.  Everyone told us once the plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work was complete, the project starts moving quickly.  Sure enough, it's true!  We have our cabinets scheduled to be delivered the week of April 18th which is also when the granite and appliances will be installed. After that, we should be able to move back home!!
